followed the route of man for thousands of years,

as a Game that filled the hours of his free time and leisure;

from the royal houses of Ur and the Crusades

and down to aristocratic lounges and taverns of Europe. 
A Game of an exraordinary combination of chance and skill,

caused a passionate intercourse to its players,

with so many emotions that portrayed in different ways

in painting, prints, illustration, in sculpture and so on ...
