BIRTH AND BEGINNING

Moschaton Athletic Union was founded as a soccer club in 1926, having as a homeland framework an almost rural area that was already changing rapidly and radically due to the development of an industrial zone to the north of the district and the habitation of a large number of refugees that left Asia Minor, after the destruction of the Greek Army.

Despite the poor financial situation, the residents turned to sports as a result of the influence of the first Olympic Games of Athens, but mainly as a solution to soften their difficult everyday lives.

Immediately after its foundation, the Club was launched the official championships of Piraeus League, joining the 3rd Division.

Throughout the pre-war period (1926-1940), the course of the Club, under the name "Moschaton, Athletic Association of Sportsmen" was a constant shuttle between the 3rd and the 2nd Division.
